Why we built a better way to chase invoices
Invoice Rescue was born from frustration — watching talented people get taken advantage of, simply because they were too polite (or too busy) to chase the money they were owed.
The short version
I'm Tibor Rames — a developer and AI builder based in the UK. I'm not a solicitor. I'm not a debt collector. I built Invoice Rescue after years of watching talented freelancers and small business owners get quietly ripped off by clients who simply… stopped replying.
The pattern was always the same: great work gets delivered, the invoice goes out, the client goes quiet, and the freelancer — who's already moved on to the next project — just absorbs the loss. Not because the money doesn't matter, but because chasing it feels awful.
The existing options don't help much. Debt collectors are aggressive and expensive. Solicitors charge upfront and are overkill for a £2,000 invoice. And doing nothing means talented people subsidise bad behaviour from clients who can afford to pay.
Invoice Rescue is the middle ground that didn't exist. We act as your professional representative — someone who follows up on your behalf with the right tone, the right persistence, and the right escalation path. No aggression. No legal jargon. Just structured, professional follow-up that gets results.
And because we charge 12% on successful recovery only, there's zero risk to you. If we don't recover your money, you don't pay us a penny.
How we think about this
Professional, not aggressive
We're firm and persistent, but never threatening. Our tone preserves your reputation and your client relationships wherever possible. See how we work in detail.
Transparent, always
One fee: 12% on recovery. No setup costs, no hidden charges, no minimums. You always know exactly what you'll pay, and only when you've been paid first.
B2B focus, clear boundaries
We work exclusively with B2B invoices — services or goods already delivered, with a clear invoice that's overdue. We don't handle consumer debt, personal loans, or disputed work.
Our compliance posture
We believe in being upfront about what we are and what we're not. Invoice Rescue acts as a professional representative of its clients. We are not solicitors, we are not a debt collection agency regulated by the FCA, and we do not provide legal advice.
Our service is focused on professional correspondence and follow-up on behalf of our clients to recover B2B invoices. We operate within the UK, serve UK-based freelancers and small businesses, and maintain full transparency throughout the process.
If your case requires legal action beyond professional correspondence, we'll tell you honestly and can suggest next steps — but that's not a service we provide ourselves.
Let's get your invoice sorted.
